Who will benefit?
Those who have already qualified with Level 2 Technical Certificate * and who wish to extend their knowledge to complex systems. The Level 3 syllabus includes chillers, VRF and multi systems, low temperature refrigeration systems, natural refrigeration systems and single and 3 phase electrical systems. This intensive course is carried out over 3 blocks of 2 weeks and gives the student a thorough grounding in the principles of complex refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
*Candidates who have not taken their Level 2 certificate at Ellis Training Works will need to sit a diagnostic test prior to acceptance.
What will be gained?
Sufficient skills, knowledge and techniques to:
Successful candidates will gain the City & Guilds Level 3 certificate which is a pre-requisite for the Level 3 NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
