Who will benefit from this NVQ qualification?
Candidates who have already completed the air conditoning and refrigeration Technical Certificate can progress to the Refrigeration and Air Conditoning NVQ at Level 2 or Level 3 as appropriate.
What will be gained?
A portfolio of evidence will be compiled by the candidate at work using guidance issued by Ellis Training Works.
Once completed the portfolio will be developed at Ellis Training Works by the candidates, during one block of 5 days, to the completion and pre-assessment stage. The next phase is assessment by Ellis Training Works staff and then arrangements are made for two on-site assessments for each candidate.
When satisfactorily completed the application is made to City & Guilds for the appropriate Refrigration and Air Conditioning NVQ at the appropriate level.

By assessment of portfolio evidence
