In the summertime when business is on our mind!

5th August 2010

You cannot currently book dates for this course.

Busy now?

Don’t forget to fix the roof while the sun is shining – get your planning and preparation done now so that when the work slows down you can get your people qualified for F-Gas in time for 2011.

If you have people that you need to get qualified for FGas purposes and are worried about how to organise it, give us a call, we can help! We have many years experience of providing assistance to large multi engineer companies as well as ‘best advice’ to small companies. You tell us about your engineers and we can help you to place them in the right length of course with the right training so that they achieve the qualification and learn the maximum they can. As most people are now aware, the F-Gas qualification is definitely not just a Safe Handling qualification! It requires much more in the way of knowledge and skill to reach a ‘pass’ standard. Once an engineer passes they have either learned new knowledge and skills or refreshed previously learned but ‘almost forgotten’ parts of their knowledge and updated their skills. Remember the FGas qualification is much more about ensuring systems that contain refrigerant are ‘TIGHT’ and then to make sure that they consume the MINIMUM amount of electricity to reduce ‘CARBON DIOXIDE’ emissions from the power stations that burn FOSSIL FUELS! (A high proportion of compressor failures are caused by over or under charging – running at inefficient conditions so they consume more electricity and thus the failure rate is much higher.

A ‘TIGHT’ system is certainly not always an EFFICIENT system.
