2000th F Gas student

22nd September 2011

Hi Gang,

Here I am again after a hard ‘summer’ to give you an update on the F gas provision here at Ellis Training Works.
Recently we completed our 2000th F gas successful assessment and the lucky candidate was Martin Elliot-Smith. Martin was surprised and delighted when he was drawn aside to be presented with a bottle of champagne by John Ellis. As it turns out Martin was a student on a course taught by John at Willesden College of Technology in the 1970’s (Last century – woof woof!) and has since been a loyal supporter of Ellis Training through C & G 2077 and 2078 Refrigerant Safe Handling qualifications.
The guys here thought that, because of the number of engineers in the industry, we might have reached our two thousand land mark much earlier but certainly before the July 4th deadline. However, the industry have responded to the deadline using the ‘Just In Time’ approach so popular with production engineers.

Is everybody who needs to be, now qualified? Who knows – watch this space!

Don’t forget though that uncertified companies cannot carry out any of the controlled activities:

- Installation
- Service & Maintenance

Ah well back to bed, ‘til next time

Woof Woof

Ozzy
