Testimonials
The course was conducted in a friendly and relaxed environment. I found the theory side of the course to be refreshing with regards to the rules and regulations and on certain elements of theory not used in my every day role as an engineer. I would recommend the course to those that have not gained their F Gas certificate already.

I thought I must drop you a quick email thanking you for such a well run course. The enthusiasm expressed by all the lectures for the subject was great, and this made the course very enjoyable.
The workshop facilities were very good as was the technical hand outs at the beginning of the course. I will have no hesitation in recommending your facility to other companies and engineers.
Well Done and Many Thanks

With regards to the recent F Gas course that I attended recently. I was very impressed with the standard that Ellis Training provided.
I feel that all elements are covered, such as the reception, training, break and lunch etc. The centre provides a good clean and safe environment. The reception staff are keen to assist. The lecturers are knowledgeable and teach to a calm and relaxed standard, that does not intimidate.
I feel that the course covered the both parts of the examinations to above pass rate, and the manner in which we were taught will help me to continue my knowledge of the F Gas rules and practices during my working life.
It seems that a great deal of thought has gone into the set up at Ellis Training and this is to be commended. Once again I thank you for providing a fantastic service that was worth every penny.

Many thanks to you and all the Ellis Training team for making the F Gas City & Guilds 2079 course so enjoyable and informative. I attended the course ahead of our employees to try and ascertain which of our engineers should attend the three and five day course. I am sure it will come as no surprise to you that given the amount of information that needs to be taken on board in such a short period of time, I feel that the majority of engineers will need the five day course. My colleague has already been in touch to secure future spaces. Companies deciding not to take this training will be taking a major risk.

We have sent our engineers to Ellis Training Works since its inception and found the level of training to be far superior to that experienced at other training organisations. We have trainees finishing their courses and being able to immediately demonstrate a very high level of understanding.
This year all our staff have needed to gain their F Gas accreditations. Ellis Training is the leading training organisation in our opinion and we have seen what a worthwhile qualification it is. Our engineers, many with years of experience, have gained a great deal of knowledge on subjects such as how systems operate, how pressure enthalpy charts show the performance of a system as well as understanding the need for efficient systems in today’s world.
When you listen to John you can see he is passionate about refrigeration and the technology behind the subject. His enthusiasm and forthright views are what makes him different from other trainers.

Just a quick note of thanks and appreciation for the excellent City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Qualification course your company are running. To date 3 of the 10 engineers we have booked have successfully completed and gained the relevant qualification. Two of the candidates Matthew Stapley & Mark Key are very experienced refrigeration engineers.
Both of them thought the course was not only very well run, but very informative and interesting. Even after 20 years each in the industry they both said they had learned something new and quote. “Brilliant”, “Best course I have ever been on”, “Knows his stuff”.
Also having the option to book the 10 course dates and then send which ever engineer we wanted has made life a lot easier to work around holidays, major projects etc.
Keep the good work up

Firstly I would like to thank you, I recently attended the F Gas, Split air conditioning installation and commissioning and Service and maintenance courses and found the courses and tutors to be excellent. I would also like to know if it would be possible for me at this stage to start the City and Guilds Technical Certificate level 2 and then progress on to the level 3 at a later stage?

A big thank you to all of the staff at Ellis Traning Works for taking me from being a complete novice on refrigeration to being a holder of the FGas Category 1 (C & G 2079) qualification in just 5 days. Excellent hands on and theoretical training from all trainers and all delivered by people who obviously know their subject inside out and impart it to others in a down to earth and friendly manner.
